WELCOME ! BIENVENIDO! |
| When someone touches the innermost
regions of your heart it
is impossible to turn your back. Such do the children of the
barrios. While Venezuela is beautiful and rich in history as well as oil there are many very poor areas where children struggle everyday for a meager existence. There is hope for these children, however, in a man who had been there himself. Chico Carrasquel left the barrio of Sarria, Caracas, Venezuela with a dream of baseball and a talent to make it come true but he never forgot from where he came. His heart had always been in the barrio and through this foundation in his name we strive to give back to those he cherished the most in life, the children of Venezuela. |

Please explore our website, and soon the children Chico cherished will touch your heart as well. |
